We went to see the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, SD on September 27, 2024 arranged by Above and Beyond Tours. Our guide was Karen, known as KareBear. Wes was good to call us to review our reservations. The trip was awesome!! We were furnished with everything they promised and more. The transportation to the park and the location for perfect viewing that they arranged was exactly what was needed. We had been on a tour with them in 2019 and was very pleased then.
Karen (Care Bear ) is an above a beyond fantastic tour guide. There were ten of us and we all said this tour was in fact the best one yet! We all have taken guides in other states, but this is by far duperior! Her personality, high level of knowledge, and ability to connect and share information with travelers is simply amazing!! .
Our tour guide Karen aka care bear was the best around she took her time, stopped traffic to get the perfect view, or picture moment. She spoke the entire day with so much knowledge of the area, history, and animals. Her upbeat personality was everything and the tips for the area she gave us all was amazing, from food, to things people might miss out on from a local here telling you the ins and outs. We did the Black Hills Above and Beyond Tours Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Iron Mountain Road, Needles Highway, and so much more on July 23, 2024. The tour was guided by Karen, aka: Care Bear. She was amazing on the tour. She was a wealth of knowledge and information. Care Bear was relentless in her search for bison and boy did she find them.
