My sister suggested I go to European Tailoring as they assisted her and her husband with their wedding attire. In short, Nick and Terry earned my highest recommendation as some of the best out here in California. I can see why they are suggested by all the high-end designers at South Coast Plaza for alterations. I ordered a Monse blazer (Modern Size 2) which was too small for me to fit. I really debated if I wanted to post this review, especially because this is a small business, but I wish I knew the expectations beforehand, so after a lot of thought, I’ve decided that this should be shared. I called several days ago to ask for a quote on hemming a dress. A young man answered (soon came to learn that this was their son), and he was really nice. I had tailoring for 2 dress shirts done here. They hemmed them extremely short and incorrectly and tried putting the blame on me. Although they purchased the same shirts again for me, they refused to do any tailoring to the new items and still charged me for the initial job ($110 per shirt). This process took over 3 months. I came in with a few dresses that needed various alterations. Terry helped me out and the experience was great! The prices were a lot more affordable than I expected and now my dresses are perfect. I would definitely come back for future alterations. Thank you so much!
