Dropped off a dress for alterations and was told to pick up on Friday. I show up on my designated day and time for pick up, and the shop is closed. I received no warning that they would not be available and no response when I reached out via WhatsApp/Instagram inquiring about my dress. I decide to leave and show up first thing in the morning the following day, 8am since that is the time Google shows they open. Iv been using this place for years. They were my go to for everything, now since the switch and the gentleman that used to be there isn’t there anymore.. at least I haven’t seen him this place has gone down hill.
If you have any urgent last-minute alteration that you need, go here! I dropped off some pants that were 2 sizes too big on a Thursday afternoon, and Friday evening, they texted me saying they were ready for pick up. Went Saturday morning, and they were ready! The really nice lady with curly hair just measured the length to get the hem perfected before I left with them. Took no more than 20 minutes for her to do that. Highly recommend! Liars. I took some pants in for a small alteration. They marked what adjustment was needed in chalk. When I came back and they said it was done I could still see the chalk where they'd marked. I looked at the inside stitching and there's no sign at all of an adjustment, just the original stitching. I was so put off and I didn't have time, my event is Friday. So I just paid and left.
