Working with Karen has been a dream since 2016. I feel like Christine Daaé from Phantom of the Opera where she has given me the voice I have always dreamed of having. I am asked by friends, family and my church FREQUENTLY to perform solos, duets, trios and small groups during the holidays, weddings and memorial services. Karen is an excellent teacher and was able to improve my technique and skills and help me sing difficult songs I didn’t even know I was capable of. She helped me with my confidence and performance skills as well. She taught me techniques that enabled me to reach notes beyond what I thought I could. She is so positive upbeat, and made me feel good about myself. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable and has a lot of experience! I highly highly recommend her as a vocal teacher.
Karen changed my life. I have had 10-20 voice teachers and she was the ONLY one to actually help me discover what I’m capable of. Not only does she improve your voice insanely, she’s also became a good friend and I consider her a mother figure. She’s genuinely one of the good ones. I will recommend a thousand times!
Taking lessons from Karen is the best thing you can do for your voice. Karen's instrument is her voice and she has dedicated her whole life to understanding and refining her knowledge of the voice. I have worked with Karen since I was in high school and she has really helped my voice to grow. She really understands the voice and specializes in operatic styles. Karen Anderson is AMAZING. Not only does she have such fine-tuned technical knowledge of the voice, she is also incredibly kind and supportive. She really knows what she's doing and helped me improve so much as a technician but also as a performer too. She is a masterful singer who has truly honed her craft and is so great at teaching others how to work with their own unique voice. I owe so much to Karen; if you have the chance to work with her, do it!
