Do not go here!!! They do not know how to do hair and the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. I had an appointment abs the stylish just didn't show up even though I advised them the day before that I had to travel that day. There wasn't even a genuine apology. AND they gave the nerve to charge premium prices. Save yourself the headache!!!!!

I always come to this place to get my french curls! Most braiding salons don’t do it, and if they do they charge around 300 which is a little ridiculous. They have great pricing and I always have a wonderful experience whenever I visit. Would highly recommend for any hairstyle! (For french curls for other colors I buy the louduyu pack on Amazon, but for black french curls they have the hair in the salon)

I came in to get 3 braids redone and was rudely turned away by a braider who told me to "go back to Harlem." She didn’t ask what I needed or if I was willing to pay — just dismissed me outright. After 6–7 years of being a loyal client, I expected better. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

I am a life long customer of Mariam. Mariam has been braiding my hair for 30 years. Mariam is patient, knowledgeable about hair braiding, thoughtful and respectful. In the 30 years I’ve been getting my hair done at her establishments (I follow her wherever she goes), I have never seen her loose her temper. I knew Mariam before I had children, she’s braid my girls hair since the were a toddler. Mariam Professional Hair Braiding is one of Brooklyn’s best kept secret. I get compliments EVERY-TIME I get my hair done.
