Matty is an exceptional trainer. We brought our Corgi to him for obedience and reactivity training, and the results have been truly remarkable. We are still attending MattyGs dog training and it has been wonderful. Our dog has reactive excitement to other dogs and walking was really hard. We've seen a huge improvement in a short time with the strategies Matt has provided. He really tailors his training to the individual family and goals. We wanted to do positive reinforcement only and Matt was fine with that. I cannot say enough good things about Matt! We recently rescued a beautiful and intelligent Rottweiler with no history—and quickly discovered she escaped crates, displayed separation anxiety, & had confidence issues which caused her to display unpredictable (lunging) behavior. Matt is a life saver! We recently put our dog through his 4 week board and train program and he was able to change our dog drastically! Our biggest issues were recall on and off leash, pulling on the leash, and resource guarding. We have a new baby who was close to crawling and we worried with these behaviors. Our dog was quite a handful for us. We didn’t know how to handle him. Matt not only trained our dog and got him to where we needed him to be, but he helped us be more competent dog owners. Understanding the how and why, and giving us the tools and insight we need to carry forward. We strongly recommend using Matt, we couldn’t imagine a better experience. The only negative is that we think our dog loves Matt more than us now :-).
