Stopped here twice as a stopover on our way down to the bay and once more back up. We stayed in a 1 bedroom dog friendly cabin. The cabins were extremely clean, very spacious and in a nice quiet setting. We felt safe and comfortable. Would definitely be back next time for more days.
The location is great. The rooms are large and very quiet. Good water pressure and heater works well. But the rooms desperately need some upgrades… the beds squeak so much , just a person rolling over in bed, wakes you up. The floors creak also. The shower amenities are lame, no conditioner and that shampoo is cheap. There are stains on the carpet. We have stayed in room 203 and room 202, same issues. Also there is an issue with the key slider on the door, both nights our keys stopped working….. and that’s very frustrating. ... read more
Our stay at the resort was perfect in so many ways! Our room overlooked the lake and we were even able to bbq late in the evening with a picturesque backdrop. The location is perfect due to its vicinity to the downtown area. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensil, baking trays, pots and pans. Although the rooms have not been renovated recently, it borders on quaint charm rather than any icky feeling.
Darling cottage wish we were able to stay longer beautiful fireplace with Kitchen comfortable bed. Chill atmosphere
Great location but unacceptable that there is no housekeeping service at all! They provide you with sheets, upon request, but you make your own bed. Also, charging holiday rates when other services are unavailable, like the restaurant, is below industry standard. Please get over the Covid era. Please ugrsde your service level. Thank you.
