I did not expect to find a Caribbean restaurant with this quality of flavor and love in it in Washington. I just landed with my brother and we decided to stop here and I'm glad we did! How often is it that you enter an establishment and the OWNER greets you?! Pam you are amazing at what you do and I look forward to tasting your peas and rice *Rice and Peas* again! Thank you!
Food was awesome, chicken was juicy and a good portion for the price. Service for cocktails was super slow bc only 2 guys working the whole FoH/bar. Ordering is done entirely through a QR on your phone. Definitely will come back and try the curries and roti.

If you are looking for a warm atmosphere, especially in this cold time, with excellent service and somehow even better food, run here. The Pelau is a MUST have, the jerk chicken is phenomenal, and the roti is unlike any I’ve ever had in my life. If you are Caribbean this place is exactly the slice of home you never knew you needed right now.
What a special restaurant. They have a small menu and everything on it is delicious. We started with the wings, my wife had the jerk chicken, our son had aloo pies and the Trinidad Mac. We shared all of the green beans and I had chicken pelau. Sadly no pics. Food was gone fast. I’m in chemo and ate like crazy which means it was delicious. The staff is great. The drinks are great. The atmosphere is fun and laid back and the food tastes like we were sitting in Barbados at some shack eating. It was that good. Definitely spe... read more
