Food was awesome, chicken was juicy and a good portion for the price. Service for cocktails was super slow bc only 2 guys working the whole FoH/bar. Ordering is done entirely through a QR on your phone. Definitely will come back and try the curries and roti.
Words cannot describe how good this restaurant is. I’m Trinidadian, and this food is literally the best version of Trinidadian/Caribbean food I’ve ever had in America, and I’ve been here for about 20 years and in many different states. The Jerk Ribs are by far the best ribs you’ll have in Seattle or outside Texas. They’re always seasoned to perfection, just the right amount of sweet and spicy, and JUICY. They literally melt in your mouth. The woman who runs the place dearly dearly cares about making high quality and deli... read more
If you are looking for a warm atmosphere, especially in this cold time, with excellent service and somehow even better food, run here. The Pelau is a MUST have, the jerk chicken is phenomenal, and the roti is unlike any I’ve ever had in my life. If you are Caribbean this place is exactly the slice of home you never knew you needed right now.
What a treat for Mother’s Day. I forgot to get our servers name but he was on point. It was our first time having genuine Trinidadian food. Food was good. I ordered the Pelau, Aloo Pie, plantains & dessert. Those jerky wings my son got were spicy but good! The cassava dessert was really sweet for me but the ice cream kind of balanced it out. I would definitely eat here again!
Disappointing. Ordered the ribs. They were dry and didn't taste as if they were made that day. The sauce was off. Some ribs were super salty. The rice was decent. Also had an appetizer and some dessert. They weren't bad. The cassava cake was tasty. I thought I'd give this place a chance, but I regret coming here and spending $80. I would much have rather spent $20 at a fast food restaurant.
