About this business
The thing that makes my shop different than all the other wine stores in the whole Montecito, Santa Barbara, Goleta area is that I only sell locally made wines. You go into the grocery store and there are only 5 wines, but right over the hill there are 200+ wineries selling 1000+ wines. I am here to support the local community and all the hard working and talented grape growers and winemakers. I am the only one doing this....that is what sets me apart. Come Visit and try some local wine!

I’ve known Doug for many years. He’s literally excellent at everything. Sound engineering, woodworking and now running this business. His love for wine, interior design and desire to support local winemakers create a perfect mix. If I wasn’t his friend I’d leave exact same review. His shop has the wine, the ambiance, and the human factor. I’m coming back when I’m in CA again. Hopefully I’m not driving myself 😝
What a great local spot! If you live in Goleta, no need to drive all the way into downtown SB for your wine needs. If you live in SB, it’s time to venture North to the 154 on-ramp 😜 Whether it’s a drink with a friend or a gathering for work, the Good Land Wine Shop has an excellent selection of local bottles and by the glass. Highly recommend!!
A great wine shop! Tastings on Tuesdays is fun, and the overall selection of local beer and wine is fantastic.
Delicious wines by the glass & sooo many fantastic Central coast wines to choose from to take away or enjoy by the bottle there. The owner Doug is super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend.
This is a different kind of place Owner Doug is a nice man with a good deal of wine knowledge about most all California central coast wines and makers as well as other Ca. County regions. Nice place to pick up a bottle on the way to a party, event, or gathering. Or to kill some time with a friend over a bottle while hanging out in the shop.
