Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding and reception at Dellwood Plantation in September 2012. It was absolutely beautiful. The accommodations for the bridal party to get ready for the event were great. The staff served light refreshments to everyone while they were getting dressed and brought appetizers after the ceremony for the bridal party to enjoy while they were getting pictures. We found the staff to be exceptional with providing us with all the details we asked for.{and believe me I had a lot of last minutes changes]. The venue is a beautiful Historical plantation that is a true testimony to what hospitatily is suppose to be. They provided us with flowers,linens,food and our bar. Everything was amazing!! This is the place to have a beautiful,and fun wedding day.Patricia Jamie and Victoria were wonderful!They listened to my every little detail as to how I wanted my day to start and end and it was exactly what I ask for. The flowers,food and cake were delicious and the service was exceptional. My guests are still talking about the horse and carriage and what a beautiful place to have a wedding. The site was beautiful and quite.They only do one wedding a weekend,so we enjoyed the privacy that it gave us and our guests. We had the whole day free to relax while they did all the work. The food exceeded our expectations. They were there before we even knew we needed them. I would highly recommend Dellwood Plantation,they made my day a dream come true.
My wedding day turned out beautifully at Dellwood Plantation. The site, gardens, and house are gorgeous. Patricia was very helpful in many ways. I was a little stressed about thinking that things would not be exactly how I wanted them. Things were not EXACTLY the way I wanted them but I didn't let it bother me and the day was great. I emailed her A LOT to let her know what I wanted and to ask specific questions. We did buy two kegs which were $350 and $375 each.
